Lismore Base Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join their team who will perform high quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures. This position requires the diagnostic radiographer to specialise in at least one modality for the purpose of providing education, leadership and clinical expertise in the noted modality.
If you have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer and current registration with the EPA (Radiation User Licence)
- Demonstrated experience in general radiography, theatre, mobile, angiography both in and out of hours service
- Extensive experience in at least one specialty area (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography/Interventional, Mammography/Breast Imaging) with demonstrated high level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on call setting
- The applicant will be required to meet current Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award conditions for Level 3 Grade 1 Diagnostic Radiographer
- Ability to participate in 24 hour rotating roster including on-call services, seven days per week as directed by the Manager of Medical Imaging. These shifts may vary from site to site within the Northern NSW Local Health District. Reside within the designated response time for on-call services as deemed necessary
