- Radiology Clerk
- Full time - 80 hours per fortnight (Part Time can be considered)
- Monday to Friday day shift
- ADO once per month + 5 weeks Annual Leave
- Ongoing position
- Based at Sandringham Hospital
The vibrant and busy Radiography department is fully accredited and provides a comprehensive range of medical diagnostic services including Ultrasound, X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy and CT.
As a Radiology Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating requests, registration of patients and ensuring that patients are processed for their tests. You will provide high-quality clerical support in the department and ensure the provision of service in a timely, effective and efficient way, meeting both our customer's needs and Alfred Health standards of practice.
Skills
This exciting role requires you to have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound clerical, phone, booking and reception skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- The ability to priortise workload and work under pressure.
- The ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
- The ability to follow directions and comply with the Alfred Health & Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- An understanding of medical terminology is desirable. Previous clerical experience in the medical field is an advantage.
