This will involve close collaboration with internal Cross River Rail project teams, construction contractors and key transport agency stakeholders (including Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Rail)The Delivery Sequencing Senior Advisor reports to the Delivery Sequencing Manager and forms part of the Customer and Network Integration teamThis opportunity is offered as a contract until end of December 2025 with possibility of extension.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and manage Rail Possessions using established frameworks and process to successfully deliver the extended possessions program.
- Lead the development and implementation of components of the delivery sequencing framework, including extended possession reporting and change management processes.
- Support contractors in application for extended track possessions including justification based on construction requirements.
- Monitor any changes or risks in the construction schedule that may affect planned possessions.
- Provide structured information and administer the Delivery Sequencing Working Group to support critical analysis and justification of extended track possessions.
- Work with key stakeholders across multiple disciplinary areas to inform them on all changes to the possession program and provide up to date information.
- Report progress and manage issues and risks on projects of work, escalating to the Delivery Sequencing Manager with solutions and mitigation measures.
- Experience supporting the project and program management of large transport infrastructure projects. Previous rail industry experience and/or transport network change management experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication including the ability to present technical information in a consumable format and providing high level advice to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication to support collaboration with a wider range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with the ability to work with initiative and independence, and implement improvements in a time sensitive environment.
