About the role
As the Ranger (Field Services) you will deliver in park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on the ground works including, but not limited to, maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities; and the field delivery of environmental projects. As the Ranger (Field Services) you will be accountable for personal performance and demonstrate a strong personal work ethic. You will actively participate in a team environment and ensure that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success.
We're looking for someone with:
- Certificate or Diploma in Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field
- Plant, chainsaw and machinery operation experience
- Demonstrated skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of park facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks
