An amazing opportunity exists for a Finance Officer - Revenue Collection to join the Rates team at the City of Kwinana.
This is a part-time position reporting to the Coordinator Rates, and working alongside a superstar team. The
primary focus this position is to work in close liaison with the Rates Coordinator to ensure rates revenue is collected in accordance with City Policies and legislation, respond to contact
from ratepayers, and ensures that the City’s revenues are collected in an efficient and proactive manner.
About You
- Sound experience, knowledge and understanding of Local Government rating principles.
- Sound knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 and Financial Management Regulations.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Sound numeracy skills.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to ensure that appropriate confidentiality is maintained.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
