Top tech consultancy requires an upcoming R&D consultant to contribute to a thriving R&D practice. Considering all levels of experience - from entry to manager.
The Day to Day
Deliver excellent client service and ensure our eligible clients secure government grants & incentives, particularly with high-quality work on the R&D Tax Incentive.
Work autonomously through the end-to-end R&D Tax Incentive process, including meetings and correspondence with clients, collation of documentation, drafting technical reports, calculation of eligible R&D expenditure, provide advice on positions adopted and legislative reasoning and management of the overall client relationship.
Research a variety of legislation and regulations, including R&D Tax, general Tax and other related legislation such as the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and provide advice on the technical and commercial application of legislation and government guidance materials.
Provide ongoing consideration of the R&D Tax Incentive and general tax compliance landscape and formulate risk mitigation and process improvement strategies.
Work with a portfolio of clients, including associated administrative and practice management tasks such as billing and collections.
Attend networking events, webinars and build internal and external networks to facilitate Business Development opportunities & build your knowledge.
Research and contribute to webinars & online content for our forward-thinking client base
Skills & Qualifications required
- You have at least 1 year of related commercial or academic experience and a Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field (Engineering / Science / Consulting / Commerce). Experience with AusIndustry and/or ATO reviews is highly preferred.
- Have a Passion for Technology & Innovation – you really enjoy learning & discussing the latest technology & science innovations.
- Are seeking to become an R&D Tax Expert – you seek to keep up to date with R&D tax-relevant legislation and industries, and you’ll apply this knowledge to deliver best practice advice in relation to R&D Tax Incentive
