We're looking for a Tax Consultant to join our rapidly growing Scale-up. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will provide tax advice to support our internal and external stakeholders. If you have a deep understanding of tax legislation and want to apply your knowledge to a dynamic and evolving scale-up, read on!
Key Responsibilities
- Working independently as a Tax Consultant and managing workflow of all tax-related queries
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Answering tax queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating directly to clients on all tax matters as required
- Building rapport with clients and maintaining the relationship
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a tax advisory role in Australia, ideally in public practice or similar environments
- CTA (or Master of Taxation) qualified or working towards CTA qualification, ideally undertake full CTA program not just the last subject (i.e. CTA 3 advisory)
- Experience in tax administration and/or tax controversy will be highly regarded
- Enjoy working in a small but growing team, focused on delivering to their clients
- Being agile with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
Salary
- $100k -$120k salary + super (depending on relevant experience)
