BDN Lawyers is an extremely busy law firm with offices in Queanbeyan and Canberra. The workplace culture is caring and each staff member is respected for the excellent work they do. Our staff work hard but there is still plenty of laughter, morning teas, lunches and bonus early marks at the end of a week.

Due to an internal promotion, our Queanbeyan office is looking for an experienced receptionist who loves assisting others and has a rapport with people. 

In this position you will be our face to the public. Therefore, you will need to represent the firm’s values in every phone call and every face to face contact both with our clients and the general public.

You will be a naturally effective communicator and be able to deal with a range of situations, remaining calm, composed and capable at all times.  Maturity and experience in a busy office environment is required.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Providing highly professional and efficient assistance to all callers and visitors as well as our staff
• Responsibility for all inbound calls and managing competing priorities
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintaining the reception area, simple correspondence and other duties as required

This is a full-time position.  It is critical that you are punctual and able to work between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
