About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our supportive and friendly team in our Cairns office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a varied role within a fast paced, supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn and develop. This role will suit a candidate with excellent customer service skills who has a strong ability to manage competing priorities and the capability to adapt to a quickly changing environment.
You are someone that is keen to grow and develop your skills utilising your strong client service skills and working alongside our teams across Maurice Blackburn.
- Answering all incoming calls and assist or transfer calls where appropriate
- Greet guests in the reception area and manage the switchboard
- Manage client expectations and provide accurate information within a timely manner
- Manage and delegate busy inbox
- Arrange and manage calendars and meeting rooms
- General office duties including keeping brochures restocked, checking reception is presentable and catering
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Other administrative support as required
The experience we are looking for
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a hardworking team
- An understanding of court processes and systems would be highly regarded
