Integrative Clinical Psychology is a small clinical practice with a big heart. Our mission is to serve the Sunshine Coast with care and kindness to help those in need of mental health support. Due to our growing practice, we are now seeking a lovely person to be our afternoon receptionist.
The hours will primarily be 12pm – 5pm, Mon – Thurs, and 7am – 3pm alternate Fridays, (with the flexibility to cover for other staff leave for additional hours).
You will be the first smiling face that our clients see, so we are looking for a friendly, caring, and calm natured person to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
- Liaise with patients and their families, GPs, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner.
- Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence.
- Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the rest of the team.
- Ability to work independently but also be an enthusiastic team player.
The requirements you will need:
- Experience in a medical or allied health practice (desirable)
- Exceptional patient service skills.
- Professionalism, reliability, and flexibility.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, staff, or other professionals.
- The ability to problem solve, multi-task, time manage and prioritise your workload.
- Medicare claiming experience (desirable)
- Confident in the use of technology
- A 'positive' attitude and willingness to help others.
