Receptionist - Ipswich (Ongoing Contract)

A full-time, ongoing Receptionist vacancy with an Ipswich-based Not-for-Profit Organisation. Work 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Our Client, an Ipswich-based Employer of Choicein the Not-for-Profit sector, is seeking a full-time Receptionist for an on-going role. This position could lead to a permanent position for the right person. Work hours will be 8.30 am to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday with a commencement as soon as possible.
This is a busy, client-facing position so it is essential that applicants for this opportunity have a strong customer focus and a commitment to providing a quality service to vulnerable people.
Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming clients arriving for appointments.
• Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Completing opening and closing procedures for the Reception area.
• Ensuring waiting areas are welcoming and tidy.
• Scanning and uploading documents.
• General receptionist duties.

Applicants for this role should possess the following skills and experience:

• A demonstrated ability to engage with people who have complex vulnerabilities
• Exceptional customer service ability, including being able to work with difficult clients
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role in a relevant industry or service
• Hold or be willing to apply for a Yellow Card.
