This is not your standard receptionist position! Reporting into the People and Culture team, you are not only the first point of contact for all general Deaf Connect queries but your role also supports the People and Culture (and greater Deaf Connect) team in administration support, facilities and property services, management of office supplies and other tasks as required.
If you are looking for a part-time receptionist role with variety and your strengths are your positivity, self-motivation and fantastic people skills, this is the role for you!
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in a customer service role with a focus on answering telephones and welcoming customers
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise workload
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with all levels of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate information channels within the team and other business areas
- Ability to communicate in Auslan
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- An understanding of the community or not for profit sector
