Our client is a leading provider of healthcare services state-wide in Tasmania. The diverse range of services span from hospitals, aged care and residential living services. They are currently seeking a Part-Time Assistant Accountant to join their team in Hobart.
Your New Role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. This is a shared role where you will work 3 days a week assisting with all
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions, as well as handle bank reconciliations and reporting functions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining company accounting, and working with a large supporting team.
What You'll Need
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Analytical abilities
Proficiency in data processing and spreadsheets (Excel)
Competence in word processing (Word)
Diligence in clerical tasks, including document scanning
Strong work ethic and a collaborative team player
