North Brisbane Law is seeking experienced Receptionist / Administration Support team member to operate at the front line of our firm.
We are a busy and expanding suburban practice with offices in North Lakes, Everton Park, Clayfield and Brisbane CBD. Our main practice areas are Family Law, Wills & Estates and Conveyancing. We pride ourselves on being professional in our approach whilst remaining down to earth. We are passionate about the service we provide to our clients and we are looking for that special someone who shares our values, fits with our culture, and is able to hit the ground running.
You can expect to be involved in the following tasks and duties:
- Greeting clients
- Attending to the front line - Answering incoming calls from potential new clients and existing clients, taking messages, transferring calls, and managing enquiries
- Setting appointments
- Secretarial duties including typing emails, correspondence and other documents (usually via dictated files)
- Providing general administration support to other staff (copying, faxing, filing, printing etc)
- General accounts work including processing payments, running invoices and receipts
- Management incoming and outgoing mail
- Opening files and record management
- Outside clerk duties (from time to time)
CRITERIA/ KEY REQUIREMENTS - Our ideal candidate will ideally possess the following:
- Previous experience in a Receptionist or Secretarial/Administration Support role within a law firm or similar environment
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Be self-motivated, proactive and have a strong work ethic
- Proficient skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook – (Minimum typing speed 60 wpm)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Be friendly and approachable with a “can do” attitude
- Ability to be patient and empathetic with clients and colleagues
- Have a mature outlook
- Must have current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience in practice management system such as LEAP an advantage
Role will be based at the North Lakes office and some travel between the offices may be required from time to time.
