The Role:
The Receptionist will need to have the ability to demonstrate a good work ethic, integrity and safe work practices together with a positive mindset in dealing with work duties and other employees will be highly regarded.
- Sound ability in obtaining quotations for projects from suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Preparation of subcontractor agreements
- Administering and negotiating variations to contracts as required
- Ability/knowledge on completing project monthly reports eg Indigenous Reporting, Project & Industry Participation.
- Ordering of materials in consultation with Project Manager
- Attending Contractors Meetings and working with contractors to resolve contractual issues
- Liaising with Project Mangers regarding management of procurement.
- Administering contracts.
About You:
Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
Accomplished Negotiation skills
The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A strong understanding and knowledge of contract law
Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook etc.), MYOB and Service M8
The ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
The ability to learn quickly and master internal contracts management systems
The ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure
To be successful in this role, you will have “can do” attitude, you are self-motivated, able to work under instruction and be a team player.
