Receptionist/Administration Officer (Part-time for a Fixed Term of 4 Months)

Our small team is committed to enabling the best independent life possible for our community of nearly 300 people living in one of our 221 homes located within one of six villages on Delfin Island at West Lakes.
We are seeking a friendly, confident, organised and experienced Receptionist/Administration Officer who loves working with older people, has a sense of fun and who is passionate about the work we do and your role in the team in delivering memorable service experiences for our community.
The role
This is a fixed term part-time position for four months to enable the Office Administrator to focus on implementing the organisation’s new resident management system.
You will be responsible for greeting residents and visitors in the office and over the phone and providing a broad range of administrative tasks and support to other team members and our residents.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing general enquiries including the reception/front office, answering telephone calls, replying to emails and greeting residents and visitors
- General office administration including procurement of office supplies and provision of administrative support to the team
- Supporting the Maintenance Officer including notifying residents of service attendance, following up service delivery and notification of service interruptions
- Maintaining appropriate electronic data management, filing and scanning

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Love working with older people
- Be passionate about the work we do and your role in the team
- Be customer focused with experience in face to face customer service
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years of administration experience
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- Be a team player and able to work in a small team
- Hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
The Salary
The salary will be reflective of your experience and qualifications.
Flexible working arrangement will be considered with up to 15 hours per week being offered for the right candidate, between 9.00am to 5.00pm Tuesday to Friday.
