About the business and the role
An exciting and unique opportunity at Adelaide Foot and Ankle is available. We provide all forms of foot and ankle care including general podiatry and reconstructive surgery. With offices at Prospect, Campbelltown and Semaphore, Adelaide Foot and Ankle is expanding. We currently employ 5 podiatrists, a podiatric surgeon and 3 admin/support staff with further growth expected in 2024. We are looking for motivated and experienced admin/support staff. We need the right staff to help us continue to grow! Renumeration will be aligned with experience and well above award rates. The position is full time but arrangements for part time is possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a member of a friendly and supportive team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Managing overall :
- patient enquiries, appointments and fee transactions
- Assisting with patient flow in and out of consulting areas
- Preparation and sterilisation of instruments
- Digital record keeping including transcription of dictation
- Stock control and ordering
- General office administration and practice management
Skills and experience
- Working with and reporting to the practice manager to achieve agreed objectives
- Friendly, welcoming & compassionate manner with patients and staff
- Punctuality and ability to commit to working hours are essential
- Motivation to complete all duties set and report outcomes
- Self initiative to identify and address areas of practice management improvement
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Outlook and Excel is essential.
- Previous experience as medical/allied health receptionist, nurse or practice manager is very desirable but not essential
