Distribution Design Officer
This role is responsible to ensure Assets are designed, built, and maintained in line with agreed plans budgets, standards, and processes. Ensure assets are disposed of responsibly at end of asset life.
The role is a maximum 2 year contract based at Bentley.
Your role will include:
• Issue and monitor ENSMS compliant work packages to support effective and efficient delivery of packages within approved budgets.
• Undertake quality assurance checks in accordance with QA requirements.
• Maintain asset data (GIS/Ellipse) and fault reporting data supporting divisional requirements.
• Design – Carry out HV/LV design and QA all external designs & work packages comply with HP minimum requirements before execution. Use of Microstation AutoCAD.
• Faults management – Process fault reports in TCS/power on advantage systems and ensure all follow-up work is executed.
• Defects management – Ensure all inspection results are recategorized and work packages created to address critical repairs.
• Health & Safety management - Contribute to a safe working environment to ensure all works delivery activities are executed safely. Attend Safety Meetings and report all hazards and incidents.
You will have:
• Degree level or Advanced Diploma qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Desirable ‘A’ grade Electrical licence or Certificate 3 distribution or cable jointing qualification.
• Mandatory W.A. driver’s license class “C” and valid at all times.
• Blue/White Card (Work safe Construction Safety Awareness Training Course).
• Current 1st Aid Certificate.
