Our culture celebrates diversity and prioritises wellbeing and belonging, ensuring our people can thrive.About The Role:In this unique role, the Case Manager's main objective is to provide complex case management to disengaged, high-needs learners with the aim to help reduce the barriers they face in participating and succeeding in education, training and the workforce. Referral students are expected to be experiencing acute levels of need requiring intensive wrap around supports to assist them to engage with and succeed in education and training. This position will deliver the Reconnect program in Hume.We are excited about you because you have:
- Extensive demonstrated industry experience in providing case management to a complex, high needs client group, with a focus on assisting with vocational choices and transition to education, training and employment pathways.
- Knowledge of local agencies and an ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships with local service providers.
- Clear evidence of practical referral skills required for wrap around support.
- Familiarity with the VET sector and welfare funding levers is desirable.
- Experience working with participants who are early school leavers, long term unemployed, Asylum Seekers, on Youth Justice orders, have experience of a Child Protection order, are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, Indigenous backgrounds and individuals who identify in the LGBTIQA+
- A minimum of a Diploma qualification or equivalent, preferably in community services, career counselling, employment services or youth work.
