Contract Duration: Initial 5-month contract with options for three 6-month extensions
We are working with a large federal government agency seeking suitably experienced Record Management Officers at APS 5, APS 6, and EL1 levels to join their dynamic team in Canberra. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of helpdesk functions, providing procedural, administrative, and operational advice and support for record management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct "as is/to be" analysis of the Records Management function.
- Assist in developing and documenting the current state of information and Records Management.
- Create and document governance arrangements to support information management, specifically Records Management.
- Assist in developing an information management strategy for Records Management.
- Assist in developing and documenting business requirements for enhancements to Records Management systems.
- Enhance and develop Records Management training materials.
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions.
- Create self-help materials for helpdesk and end users.
- Contribute to the uplift of APS capability in the Records Management team.
Skills:
- Proven experience in records and information management.
- Experience with an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Ability to solve complex problems critically.
- Promote digital efficiency.
