A hot job with a State Government department based in Karrakatta to assist and administer the Freedom of Information legislation. You will be working full-time hours and on an initial 1-month temporary engagement and to start immediately.
Your new role
Administrative tasks associated with processing incoming mail (receipt and dispatch)
Administrative tasks associated with processing Freedom of Information requests (predominantly maintaining a register, and tracking action and timelines)
Processing a backlog of documents
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Letter writing
Data and records management
Answer enquiries from different parties
What you'll need to succeed
Admin and FOI experience
Good communication (written and verbal) skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
