Have meaningful impact as a Recoveries Consultant.
Your Role
We currently have multiple 12 month fix term contract opportunities available to join our motor IAG recoveries teams. In these roles you will be responsible for effectively managing and maximising negotiated complex Recovery opportunities. You will work towards ensuring a commercially beneficial outcome for the organisation by pursuing opportunities that drive cost containment and whilst also balancing our legislative and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiating complex recovery opportunities by engaging with relevant stakeholders to achieve commercial outcomes in line with KPI’s.
- Engage with both competitor insurance companies as well as uninsured parties
- Ensure risk/exposure is mitigated and appropriate business and customer outcomes are achieved
- Adhere to external regulatory and legislative requirements in accordance with internal business rules and established ways of working.
- Effectively manage work allocation in accordance with set established Service Standards including Inbound and Outbound calls
- Management of dispute resolution and customer management where points of contention and/or conflict arise.
- Ensuring we service and support the customer more broadly across Direct Claims where requirements of the business may evolve or change
The roles are open nationwide and successful candidates will enjoy great flexibility to work from home after training. Please note in line with IAG's business requirements you will be required to attend your local IAG office once a month and or as per business needs after training. Training period is 4-weeks and may be a combination of onsite and virtual training. The start date is flexible for the right candidate.
Please note: To work from home, you will need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Working within company guidelines towards set KPIs
- Capability to manage Inbound and Outbound call volumes
- Ability to adapt to new computer systems
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Previous experience in Insurance is highly desirable but not necessary
