About the Role
With the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) growing over the next twelve months, this is an exciting time for a dynamic and personable recruitment professional to join the NHVR’s People, Safety and Culture unit.
As a Recruiter, you will provide timely, targeted and cost-effective end-to-end recruitment services to support the business in attracting and engaging with key talent. You will join a supportive and motivated team of recruiters, servicing the organisation nationally across a vast range of roles and disciplines – from engineers, policy advisors and technology professionals, through to lawyers, compliance officers and media gurus, just to name a few.
You will build relationships with hiring managers across the business, providing advice and support in their talent requirements. Day-to-day, you will also maintain internal employee mobility and position change processes, including higher duties, position extensions and offboarding.
This is a temporary position for 12 months to support parental leave in team.
About You
With previous experience in similar roles, you will be well-versed in end-to-end recruitment. Key to your success in the role will be your personable nature with engaging and influential communication style, allowing you to effectively build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
With previous demonstrated experience as a trusted recruiter, your passion for understanding a business area and its positions and required skills, translates to true partnerships with your hiring leaders in sourcing the right talent.
Along with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you will possess proficient written and verbal communication skills. As the ideal candidate, you will come with an innovative and flexible mindset. Demonstrated experience with HRIS or e-recruitment systems is preferable.
