ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and drafting employment offers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on recruitment best practices, market trends, and industry benchmarks, providing guidance, advice, and recommendations to hiring managers.
• Source and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and industry associations.
• Manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and provide regular updates and reports to department heads on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, and talent acquisition projects to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice in the mining industry.
• Other duties as assigned by the Recruitment Superintendent.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience as a recruiter in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of the resources industry, in particular mining, would be advantageous.
• Solid understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• An ability to work independently on an assigned portfolio but also as a collaborative team member.
• Proficient in the use of UKG (Kronos), would be useful, but training can be provided.
