Their guiding principals around quality and service have resulted in them being the largest supplier of their products in Australia.The Role:
Due to their ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment they are expanding their team and seeking experienced WHSE Advisor to join the team. The position is very much a 'hands on' where you will be required to coach and educated all staff on the safety culture and help them to understand the 'why'. This role is for someone that has a passion for educating and coaching on health & safety best practice by building relationships with a range of stakeholders on site.Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect and identify HSE issues across all site activities.
- Investigate and report HSE incidents, implementing actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Address HSE issues professionally and escalate them to a manager when necessary.
- Understand plant and equipment requirements for project delivery, with knowledge of key associated risks and effective management strategies.
- Conduct toolbox meetings for site personnel
- Assist with new starter inductions.
- Take ownership of creating a safe working environment.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is essential
- Exposure to Health & Safety within the manufacturing industry in preferred
- Construction Industry White Card
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Working knowledge of HSE legislation and requirements
- Current driver's license
