What you'll be doing:
- Implement and monitor workplace safety plans and legal compliance
- Conduct safety trainings and presentations for staff
- Oversee equipment and workplace inspections
- Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures
- Maintain and update safety documentation and records
- Actively participate in and chair safety committee meetings
What you'll need:
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and risk management
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Australian Safety Standards
