Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Advisor to join the People and Culture team in Emerald. We are looking for a proactive and experienced recruiter to join our friendly and collaborative team who are responsible for end-to-end recruitment of a diverse range of positions across council.

As Recruitment Advisor you will be a trusted business partner to a wide range of Hiring Managers across council, working closely with them to understand their hiring needs and provide expert advice and guidance through the recruitment process.

Working with us, you will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute towards maintaining a positive and an engaging employer brand

• Undertake end to end recruitment campaigns appropriate for a wide range of positions

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

• Recruitment experience in either an agency or in-house environment
• A high degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to consult with all levels of staff
• Advanced computer skills with an ability to proactively source candidates across blue collar, technical and professional industry sectors
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills to juggle competing deadlines
• Minimum of a Queensland class C provisional drivers licence.
