The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis (8-15 hours per week, flexible over 3-5 days). This role will primarily focus on talent acquisition and the optimization of our recruiting processes to support our mission of creating a highly engaged and effective team
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, and processing references.
- Manage the onboarding and induction process for new starters to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Oversee the biannual performance review logistics.
- Maintain digital employee records and ensure the accuracy of all employee data.
- Coordinate HR-related events, schedule meetings, and maintain agendas.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 2 years of experience focused on recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, or other related fields are advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment processes effectively.
- Proficiency in using HR information systems; experience with ELMO is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work within tight timeframes.
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a thirst for knowledge.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Google suite of products.
