The Opportunity
You’ll be working as part of our busy Policy, Project and Program team and benefit from a strong flow of inbound work and deep relationships across the Canberra market.
Although you will benefit from real jobs hitting your inbox from day one, we are looking for a consultant with a drive to build business as well.
Much of your time will be focussed on Federal Government clients, but you’ll also be helping to grow ACT Government, Commercial and NFP clients in this space.
HorizonOne will support and maximise your success through integrated technologies, comprehensive training, our in-house corporate services team and top-class talent attraction marketing support.
This is a role where you can focus on more of what you enjoy, and less time spent on administration work.
The Ideal Person
We are looking for someone who is already be a high performing recruiter, with around 2 years previous experience.
We are open to what specialism you are coming from; we’ve had great success with consultants coming from white collar recruitment as well as those coming from a blue-collar temp or perm environment, wanting something more.
To succeed with us you will also:
- Have a strong growth mindset to drive and develop your career
- Value quality relationships and high-value outcomes over questionable placements for a quick fee
- Have high emotional intelligence and enjoy working with like-minded and hard working professionals.
- Believe team success is important, not just your individual targets
- Have excellent writing skills, you’ll need to write great job ads, candidate summaries and be able to communicate with senior execs
- Know where you want to go with clear personal and career goals. Plus the drive to get there!

$70k - $80k + super + market leading commission structure (up to 45% of GP)
