Job description

Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Custom Denning is currently on a very exciting journey when it comes to pioneering the way for locally manufactured electric vehicles in Australia. We are currently working very closely with the NSW government to support government infrastructure plans of transitioning NSW buses from diesel to an electric fleet by 2035.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, this is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator/Recruiter looking for their next challenge. 

About You:

You will have a least 3 years' experience within a similar role.  You will have worked within a manufacturing or blue-collar environment and have a strong grasp of onboarding, offboarding and be systems savvy. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.  You will be highly adaptable and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Coordination: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process using our recruitment platform (World Manager), including job posting, candidate sourcing, scheduling interviews, and facilitating candidate communications. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of open positions.

Candidate Experience: Provide exceptional support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring a positive and professional experience from application to onboarding.

HR Administration: Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining digital employee records, processing documentation, and coordinating employee events or activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and assist in the implementation of HR initiatives.

Onboarding Support: Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork through Tanda, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the organisation.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases and systems using our HRIS (World Manager) and SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making and process improvements.
