Our service thrives on meaningful relationships with both the school community and the families we serve. The service operates from the school hall, providing care experiences on average 100 children in After School Care. You’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing these bonds and providing exceptional support to children with diverse needs.
In this role, you will be an advocate for the children, as the Assistant Coordinator you'll have the flexibility of split shifts to work Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am – 8:30 am and 2 pm – 6 pm with additional out of ratio administration hours.
Our ideal candidate While a Certificate III in Children’s Services, Certificate IV in School Aged Care, or a related field is an advantage, we also value substantial sector experience. Your ability to showcase the required competencies and knowledge is what truly matters. It’s important you have a talent for exceptional communication with children, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
Child Safety: Looking for an individual that understands, adheres to, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
Requirement Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Vaccination (double Vaccinated) or approved Medical Exemption.
Completion of Approved Child Protection Training.
