Recycling Team Leader

Citywide are recruiting for a RecyclingTeam Leader for our facility located on Degraves Street, to supervise the processing of cardboard and organic waste. This role will suit anyone with a passion for recycling, sustainability and the environment with experience leading a team.

• Degraves Street location
• Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

• Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the team
• Supervising processing technicians
• Actively participating in the processing of recycling
• Liaise with clients and the general public on a daily basis
• Prepare monthly contract report
• Order stock and materials as required
• Triage service requests, queries and provide feedback/or service information
• Accurate daily reporting or performance
• Ensure that all fleet and equipment are maintained at all times
• Escalate any safety, employee safety or operational issues to the supervisor
• Ensure the highest standards of safety are applied

Skills and experience required:

• Experience and knowledge in Waste & Recycling management desirable
• Experience in leading and motivating a team
• First Aid certificate desirable
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
