of Estate Planning and StrategyThe Office
of Estate Planning and Strategy contributes to the Division of Infrastructure and Commercial’s strategic approach to planning, development and ongoing maintenance of the Universitys built infrastructure, properties, and commercial activities. The Division undertakes strategic development and maintenance of the network of campuses and property estate to support the Universitys learning, teaching and research activities and preserves and enhances the unique aesthetics of the campuses.
About the RoleThe Office
of Estate Planning and Strategy is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of statutory and strategic planning support to the Statutory Planning Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, and Executive Director Infrastructure Strategy and Planning.The role undertakes preparation of planning documentation, regulatory compliance and reporting, delivery of strategic planning projects, and the provision of specialist planning advice. The position is also responsible for supporting business improvements including development of administrative processes to support effective and productive team output.This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. About YouThe successful candidate will have previous experience in complex planning, heritage, sustainability, active transport, master
Planning and urban design issues. You will have tertiary qualifications in Planning Architecture, Urban Design, Geography, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of relevant experience.Demonstrated knowledge of the Environmental
Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Heritage Act 1977, and other relevant planning policies is essential.
