Refrigeration Mechanic

Price & Speed Containers is an Australian & family-owned business with an established reputation for service excellence, expert knowledge and personal customer attention. Due to growth in business, we are looking to employ a qualified full-time Refrigeration Mechanic who meets the below criteria:

Job tasks & Responsibilities

 Installing, repairing and maintaining refrigerated containers (HVAC units)  

-        Using drawings, diagram, schedules, standards, codes and specifications

-        Fabricating, assembling and dismantling utilities industry components

-        Establishing the basic operating conditions of Air Conditioning Systems

-        Fixing and securing electrotechnology equipment, etc

-        Experience with Coolrooms and Freezers

-        Experience with Refrigerated Containers

-        Must present well with good communication skills.

-        Must be comfortable in a team or working alone.

-        Must be able to travel within Australia as required

Skills and experience

-   Minimum of 2 years’ experience – installation, repairs and maintenance of refrigeration equipment

-        Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration

-        National Licence to perform high risk work – forklift licence

• Flexible hours available
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• Working rights required for this role
• Expected salary: $40 - $48 per hour
