We have an opportunity for a Fully Qualified Refrigeration Mechanicto join our team in Moranbah  on a Full-Time basis 8/6 Roster, FIFO from Brisbane  or DIDO for local candidates.   This role will see you maintain our client’s assets safely and to the highest of standards.

The Position:

• General refrigeration works to residential accommodation, accommodation camps and mining assets to a high standard, and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards
• Repairs and maintenance of air conditioning plant, including, room air conditioners, split units, evaporative coolers, and all other general AC work.   

• Repairs and maintenance of refrigeration equipment, including, ice machines, drinking water fountains, cool rooms, freezer rooms, refrigerated sea containers, dining room equipment, including, cold wells, drink dispensers, display fridges, bar facilities and all other general refrigeration                                                                                                      
• Initiative-taking demonstration of commitment to Zero Harm safety culture
• Performing work in a safe manner, abiding by our safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices
• Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as provided.
• Participate in the call out roster and attend emergency call outs as required.
• Proactively work to improve processes through continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assisting all trades (electrical, plumbing, general building)

Minimum Criteria:

• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Full ARTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Split System Installation Ticket
• Restricted or Full Electrical Licence
• Current Open Drivers Licence {Manual}
• QLD Construction Induction Card {White Card CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001}
• Demonstrable post trade experience working in a Commercial / Industrial environment, {large FM environment / Mine Camp Village}
• Strong working knowledge of our commitment to Zero Harm
• Excellent work ethic with pride in workmanship
• Sound time management skills, self- motivated and organised
