Sodexo are currently looking for an experienced Regional Aviation Technical Manager to join the team based in Balcatta, Perth on a full time, permanent basis.

The position will be responsible for providing both subject matter expertise, and overall strategic direction to both Sodexo site based Aerodrome teams, and wider Sodexo Aviation-related stakeholders. You will have Operational oversight on all activities across the Sodexo IFMS Aerodrome portfolio, ensuring the key deliverables of Sodexo and it's client, are aligned and executed. You will focus on safety and compliance, and providing operations with the tools to ensure on-time, high quality delivery of service. With portfolio wide oversight the aim of the role is to share best practice and provide a consistent model of operation.

Accountabilities for the Regional Aviation Technical Manager Will Include:

• Meeting Contract Service Specifications.
• Compliance with CASA and other regulatory bodies' policies and procedure.
• Adherence to Safety and Compliance standards.
• Client & Partnership engagement, and support for Aerodrome Managers (AMS) as required.
• Development of Sodexo Aviation strategy and overall direction via the Sodexo Aerodrome Management Plans.
• Management of Maintenance, Security, Wildlife & Weather Monitoring contracts.
• Oversight of portfolio Maintenance activities.

Requirements of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Provide safety leadership with an in-depth knowledge of Aerodrome operations, legislation, regulation and compliance standards.
• Responsible for supporting the annual auditing schedules and in the actioning of findings.
• Provide leadership in the analysis of safety incidents and provide subject matter expertise to the investigation team as required.
• Develop and build strong client / stakeholder relationships
• Design and facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, meetings, and reviews to optimize performance and risk management.
• Work with the client and commercial teams to ensure that the required scope of service is being met.
• Responsible for the calculation of resource requirements across Sodexo IFMS Aerodrome services, providing business cases for amendment where required.
• Analysis of service delivery including on time performance and passenger headcount form the basis of recommending optimisation opportunities.
• Contractor engagement and management with client and service provider(s).
• Ensure customer satisfaction standards are met and appropriate feedback is enacted upon.
• Facilitating information and acting as a central point for stakeholders directly and indirectly involved in Transport operations for Sodexo.
• Management and support for the Regional Aviation Supervisor, to ensure delivery of the IFMS Aerodromes scope of work.

Required Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

• Degree in an Aviation related subject desirable.

Experience:

• Demonstrated management experience within the Aviation Industry.
• Contract Management

• Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to analyze and synthesis high volumes of data and present the information in meaningful and accurate reports.
