About the role

The Delivery Partners QLD Manager maintains operational oversight of the Delivery Partners team, and whole of region Subcontractor Delivery Partners.

The role is responsible for operational, commercial and compliance management of the Delivery Partner teams and associated functions. The role provides leadership to and management of process and policy governing the onboarding and compliance management of TGE subcontractors across Business Units.

Supporting Delivery Partner Specialists, the QLD Manager will apply a continuous improvement lens to all business and functional responsibilities. Ensuring safety, people, business integrity and performance are the key drivers across all operations. As a key support function to the operating business units, the Delivery Partners Manager will establish and maintain productive relationships across business functions and multi-disciplinary teams.

Delivery Partners are a valued extension to the TGE family – and the QLD Manager will support and drive initiatives to enhance engagement, performance, and customer experience.

Establishing and applying procedural disciplines to Delivery Partner management is critical to delivering high levels of service to our customers. Ensuring adherence to relevant legislative and industrial terms and conditions is critical and the Delivery Partner Manager will maintain a structured assurance program to support compliance.

Working with Functional and Divisional operational teams across the QLD TGE network, this position is pivotal to enforcing TGE compliance standards, delivering commercial efficiencies and service reliability, and engaging subcontractors to reinforce TGE safety, cultural and service delivery expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Manage QLD based Delivery Partners by ensuring the Team Global Express Agreement is in place, including the Statement of Engagement.

  • Manage registration and compliance with TGEs Delivery Partner management platforms.

  • Govern and maintain the integrity of Delivery Partner data within relevant systems.

  • With the DP Compliance Manager, actively maintain relevant systems and tools always ensuring to adhere to TGE data security protocols.

  • Maintain and manage engagement between TGE and Delivery Partners, encouraging open and transparent interactions between the two parties.

  • Manage, monitor and review Delivery Partner data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.

  • Participate in the investigation process relating to Delivery Partner performance concerns or incidents.

  • Actively work with the Delivery Partner to close out non-conformances within the required timeframe as a result of an Audit.

  • Ensure Delivery Partner services are being provided in line with all aspects of the agreement, including adhering to lawful payment arrangements.

  • Generate reporting and business analytics to monitor and control Delivery Partner activities.

  • Prepare and validate national Delivery Partner activity and compliance status data for the IR team twice yearly, supporting TGE’s obligations under Heads of Agreement

  • Lead, investigate, and respond to claims regarding Delivery Partners brought to TGE by the Union.

What you’ll bring

  • Multi-disciplinary transport business management

  • Extensive systems knowledge of TGE business systems

  • Analytical and commercial acumen

  • Proven ability to build strong business partner relationships

  • Experience in managing subcontractor performance and relationships

  • Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Road compliance & regulatory requirements

  • Ability to take a holistic business approach and work collectively across all facets of a business

  • Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline highly desirable
