The position is responsible for leading a successful region and drive future strategic direction within our New South Wales Operations.
We will be looking at dynamic senior leader with experience within the pavement construction industry to lead our South region in NSW. With a key focus on leading our local team, the role encompasses managing all aspects including but not limited to business, financial, safety, technical, project management, business development and networking, client relationships, general management, sales, and marketing within the region.
The role is adequately supported by an experienced local team, and a range of national resources that will work collaboratively to achieve your planned initiatives. Combining the challenge of marketing, works procurement/tendering, project delivery, contract management, client and stakeholder liaison, invoicing and the financial management and EOM processing of this significant business unit.
Position Criteria:
- Extensive knowledge within the civil construction industry preferably with exposure to pavements and stabilisation practice
- Proven ability to lead a team and influence the best in others.
- A focus on maintaining a safe workplace and upholding safe work practices.
- Strong business development skills, aligned with strategic thinking.
- Disciplined project management experience
- Preferably an engineering qualification or alternative tertiary qualifications to support the above criteria.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Some overnight travel would be expected of the role to service face to face and project delivery needs.
Some overnight travel will be required at times in the performance of position duties.
