The Role:
Due to continued growth in our business, an exciting opportunity has become available for a commercially astute and strategically focused leader to join our growing portfolio of Retirement Villages in Victoria. The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for:
Setting the strategic direction of their region
Leading a culture that places our resident satisfaction and customer service in the forefront of all actions and decisions
Assisting with developing operational strategies and review of asset plans
Driving and guiding regional performance aligned to business plan, customer satisfaction and financial targets
Developing people leadership plans and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders for their operational region
Fostering the collaborative approach that village operations have with residents and committees
Act as a trusted advisor for operations related to the Retirement Villages Act to ensure villages are always compliant
Continuous quality improvement by coaching, mentoring and building strong and successful village teams
Your Background:
The effortless ability to lead, support and mentor team members.
Extensive asset and property management experience (preferably in Seniors Living or Hospitality industry) in a leadership/senior management capacity
Expert knowledge of the Retirement Village Act and Accreditation process/principles.
Strong financial reporting and budget management skills.
Demonstrated experience leading & developing teams across multiple locations.
Strong leadership capability with a preference for adopting a collaborative approach to decision making and focus on delivering results.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
