About the roleThe Manager
Regional Operations will consider risk profiles and provide solutions to mitigate any risk through strategy in order to enable informed business decisions to be made within the Region. The role will have accountability for supporting the Regional Director in the development of the Regional Action Plan (RAP) including analysis of the performance of the region and reporting on the implementation and achievements against the formal RAP.The role will also lead a team for the provision of specialist support services to Districts that are able to provide support and advice to staff in the delivery of the local district action plans.
We're looking for someone with:- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent (essential)
- Extensive experience in the successful provision of the financial management function, including leadership, strategic professional advice and recommendations, of a large, complex organisation
- Leadership and management skills, including the ability to develop and monitor complex work programs and achieve corporate objectives
- Ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide strategic advice to complex issues
- Extensive experience in engagement and stakeholder management
