The Role:
This is a key leadership role within the Operations team that will oversee the strategic, operational and financial performance across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes in the Western and Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Whilst being the primary point of contact for Residential Managers across 4 homes in the Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne, the Regional Manager will have responsibility for:
- HR & workforce planning.
- Ensuring homes deliver and maintain the highest level of care and service to all its residents
- Ensure all organisational policies and strategies are implemented and consistently updated as required.
- Manage and monitor regular reporting and ensure compliance across portfolio of Residences, in accordance with Aged Care Standards, legislative/statutory requirements and regulations
- Oversee and support General Manager and Admissions Coordinators with monitoring occupancy and RAD budgets
- Ensure all business risks are identified and managed appropriately
- Together with Residence Managers' develop and implement business plans in order to reach agreed budgets and financial KPI's
Key requirements for this role:
- Previous Regional Operations Management experience within the Residential Aged Care Sector, where you have been responsible for driving business/financial performance and clinical standards across multiple Aged Care sites.
- Thorough working knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and other relevant legislative framework
- Thorough understanding of AN-ACC principles
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- High level reporting skills, both verbally and written.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and mentor staff.
- Current cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check, or ability to obtain
- Up-to-date Vaccination status (COVID & Influenza)
