The role:
Reporting to the General Manager of Disability and Mental Health, Centacare Services the Regional Operations Manager will play a pivotal role as part of Centacare Services Leadership team. The position is responsible for multi-site leadership, management, and mentoring Service Leaders within a catchment. This position will ensure the development of staff skills in delivering a client-centred approach in alignment and compliance with the relevant regulatory frameworks, safeguarding practices and relevant contractual and budgetary requirements, while being fully accountable for the region’s budget. Centacare Disability & Mental Health services include a range in home support, social and life skills, specialised support and supported independent living provided to people with disability. In this role you will oversee the more complex arrangements where Centacare supports our clients.

We have multiple Regional Operations Managers providing service delivery across South East Queensland. This role will predominantly be working with our complex arrangements in South West Brisbane and Ipswich areas.
Key Duties:
- Ensure continuous improvement in the delivery, monitoring, and review of client services, including the implementation and embedding of effective ongoing feedback processes and ensure this is reflected in all areas of service delivery.
- Support the appropriate resourcing, planning and maintenance of service infrastructure.
- Set Regional priorities in line with Service vision and overall strategic direction.
- Drive performance against KPIs as detailed in the strategic plan or as individually agreed.
- Facilitate growth of services and ongoing image of Centacare in the broader community.
- Provide day to day support, direction and mentoring for Teams to achieve business plan outcomes. Including performance management, supervision and direct management of staff.
- Ensure long term sustainability of funding for core programs through innovation, outstanding service delivery, effective promotion, and strategic relationship management.
- Manage all aspects of the regional budget responsibilities, participate in budgeting processes and finance meetings as required and report any financial variations that require remediation. Accountable for regional financial performance.
- Accountable for operations to maintain compliance and performance of service delivery with contractual, legal, organisational requirements and obligations.
- Tertiary qualification in Management, Human Services, Disability or Aged Care or other related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working within a complex, dynamic, and high-volume environment managing multi-site service delivery.
- Experience and thorough understanding of the use of restrictive practices (State and Federal legislation and standards) and ability to coach stakeholders in correct and contemporary practices.
- Demonstrated experience in Behaviour Support Plan Implementation and adherence.
- Proven experience in team leadership and management of high performing teams.
- Working knowledge of NDIS Commission Quality & Support standards and reporting requirements.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to deliver services within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
- Well-developed decision-making and problem-solving skills, able to provide creative solutions to organisational problems.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments or new legislation.
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current driver’s license, blue card, criminal history check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and evidence of rights to work in Australia.
