Being in our Defence business means you'll be working to provide secure network and solutions for our defence customer segment.
Please note all candidates must be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and passionate Regional Operations Specialist to join the Defence Engagement Team.
Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but are not limited to:
Act as an ICT infrastructure SME (Subject Matter Expert) and escalation point for all aspects of the Terrestrial Communications infrastructure environment, within the specific region of responsibility.
Provide quality advice and direction to stakeholders and field work force, based on knowledge and experience within the Terrestrial Communications environment.
Support all components of ICT infrastructure based on operational requirements.
Provide backfilling for other regional resources within Telstra
Participate in a program to ensure the successful integration of new products, services and or processes to the group.
Perform or participate in complex, specialised investigations to determine/confirm system and design standards, performance parameters for the networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied and operated by Telstra.
Weekly and monthly reporting requirements focussed on condition assessments, portfolio management, and Risk Management and project opportunities.
Management & ongoing maintenance of Site Profile documents and associated data
Enough about us, let's talk about you. To hit the ground running we are looking for individuals who can confidently demonstrate the following:
Hold a minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance
Experience in a Maintenance / Facilities role with a focus in ICT infrastructure management.
Good Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite programs, SharePoint & Cable Solve experience advantageous)
Some ability to perform hands on work where required. Project and portfolio experience.
Experience and knowledge of the Defence TC Network
