What You Will Do:

The role of Regional Product Manager holds market-based responsibility for the commercial success of the Workforce Management product suite within a given market. The Regional Product Manager must understand the needs of their market, while simultaneously understand the value proposition and market-fit across the entire applicable Allocate portfolio. They will input into the long-term vision and strategy for all products that are, or could be, applied to their regional market. To achieve success in this role, the Regional Product Manager must work cross-functionally within the Product Management department to ensure regional success for all products.

The Regional Product Manager maintains end responsibility for market entry and overall product performance in their applicable regions. This person must have the ability to own a multi-product, multi-solution market strategy. Working alongside the regionally based leadership, sales and customer success teams, as well as Product Management and R&D, successful RPMs will be both influencer and Product Management professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of the market entry strategy across the RLDatix portfolio
  • Responsible for ensuring all products within region are maximising the business impact at each applicable lifecycle stage
  • Responsible for creating and executing to compelling product strategies to drive customer adoption, revenue and margin within region
  • Actively responsible for the commercial success of the product within region, ensuring Regional Product P&L performance is in line with business expectations and market opportunity
  • Working with global Product Manager to drive pricing models and profitability management throughout the product lifecycle within market
  • Define the short and long-term product roadmap requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with the global product strategy and overall business goals
  • Communicate the product strategy effectively to all levels of internal and external stakeholders within the region
  • Define compelling commercial propositions based on measured, well-understood regional market needs and customer problems
  • Establish and execute to a defined set of benefits to be realised within region
  • Own the creation of and execution to business cases justifying investment within region to drive company ROI
  • Proactively manage to all regional and company KPIs, ensuring product performance is optimised
  • Provide deep understanding of the regional customer needs, problems and opportunities, advocating for customer needs and opportunity internally
  • Work cross-functionally within Product Management to drive market insight, including win/loss, user groups and surveys, competitive analysis, and horizon scanning
  • Manage product line issues and risks to ensure timeline delivery and market success
  • Provide line management to regional Product Specialists (as required)
  • Accountable for:
  • RLDatix portfolio strategy within the given market
  • Overall commercial success of RLDatix portfolio within the given market
  • Application of a given product's vision and strategy to the given market
  • Execution of the market entry and exit strategies within the given market
  • Driving cross functional alignment to facilitate and improve business and customer outcome
