The Opportunity:
The Regional Relationship & Key Client Manager (RKCM) will be responsible for the creation and preservation of strong relationships with clients, business partners and internal company stakeholders in our Pilbara Operations. The position will perform this requirement through active, engaged and regular monitoring of operational performance, maintaining constant client dialogue and ensuring timely consultation.
The position will be embedded within the Pilbara Operational Network to ensure an open communications pipeline is maintained between the client-facing and Matic-facing operational interfaces. Through these communications, the position will work closely with Matic operational teams and client-based operational teams to ensure service level commitments and safety standard are maintained/exceeded as per contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
The position will be offered ex-Perth on a FIFO (Perth to Karratha/Tom Price/Newman) basis Monday to Friday, permitting weekends back in Perth. A degree of flexibility around this work arrangement will be considered for the successful applicant.
Key Focus Areas:
The key focus areas of the (RKCM) will be:
- Understand client needs and develop operational plans and service solutions to address them;
- Identify Key Client staff and stakeholders to cultivate productive and effective relationships;
- Connect client-needs requirements with internal stakeholders to fulfil all service commitments;
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively;
- Promote high-quality operational, supply and customer service processes
About You:
The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a Client Relationship and Key Account Management role;
- Proven experience in the transport & logistics industry (mining experience desirable);
- Proven experience in Heavy Vehicle
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices;
- Problem-solving attitude;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Aptitude for fostering positive relationships;
- Teamwork and leadership skills;
- Customer-oriented mindset;
