Houtermans Horner Conveyancing is a well-established practice based in the North Eastern suburbs, specializing in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing.
A full time position has become available in our team for a dedicated and experienced Conveyancer.
The key responsibilities include:
- Working on various conveyancing files from start to finish
- Providing advice to clients
- Developing new and existing relationships
- Preparation of Contracts and Form 1’s
- Ordering of government searches
- Assisting the Director with the business operations
- Managing the business in the absence of the Director
The successful applicant must have the following attributes:
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
- Friendly and professional phone manner
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Be honest and loyal
- High level communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a high pressure, small office environment
- Ability to competently handle different types of transactions, including land divisions and leases
- Knowledge of CATS is desirable but not essential
A minimum of 5 years conveyancing experience is essential and although being a Registered Conveyancer is preferred, we also encourage experienced file managers to apply. Remuneration will be based on experience and work introduced to the office.
