Registered Conveyancer

Houtermans Horner Conveyancing is a well-established practice based in the North Eastern suburbs, specializing in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing.

A full time position has become available in our team for a dedicated and experienced Conveyancer.  

The key responsibilities include:

• Working on various conveyancing files from start to finish
• Providing advice to clients
• Developing new and existing relationships
• Preparation of Contracts and Form 1’s
• Ordering of government searches
• Assisting the Director with the business operations
• Managing the business in the absence of the Director

The successful applicant must have the following attributes:

• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
• Friendly and professional phone manner
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Be honest and loyal
• High level communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a high pressure, small office environment
• Ability to competently handle different types of transactions, including land divisions and leases
• Knowledge of CATS is desirable but not essential

A minimum of 5 years conveyancing experience is essential and although being a Registered Conveyancer is preferred, we also encourage experienced file managers to apply. Remuneration will be based on experience and work introduced to the office.
