We’re looking for experienced Registered Nurses/Enrolled Nurse with a passion for General Practice to build on their previous experience and be part of a growing health community, where a holistic and dedicated approach to comprehensive patient care continues to be our priority.
In this role you will:
- Manage and comply with relevant Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines
- Have primary responsibility for cold chain management
- Be responsible for reprocessing of reusable medical devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage recall/reminder systems, data and clinical software
- Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Deliver continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives through the review of systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accessible care
- Provide top-notch patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, and health assessments.
- Assist in chronic disease management and deliver patient education.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
What will you bring?
- Current RN registration, Division 1 with APHRA/ EN registration
- Previous experience in general practice or primary care is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with patient-focused approach.
- Proficiency in performing general practice nurse duties, including immunizations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checking.
- Nurse immuniser qualified preferred
- Experience with all types of Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic disease management processes.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Experience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage.
