The Role:
You shall be responsible for providing high-level medical support to our clients including primary health care services in an immigration detention clinic. Key responsibilities:
- You will be providing Primary healthcare services and initial emergency response where required
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Contribute to the effective multidisciplinary health management
- Ensure that documentation is accurate, precise and concise
To be considered you must have the following:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
- Excellent clinical assessment skills in a primary health care environment
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a corrections, detention or remote nursing setting would be desirable
- Current ALS, Working with Children Certificate and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Live in Australia or New Zealand and have work rights
