To provide nursing care to residents of St Ezekiel Moreno Nursing Home.
Essential Criteria : • Current registration with the NSW NMBA as a Registered Nurse • Relevant aged care experience • Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills • An understanding and working knowledge of Work Health and Safety issues, infection control, fire prevention, manual handling and food safety • Holder of Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Nursing Duties and
Responsibilities • Appraising, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to residents according to accepted nursing practice and standards • Working in consultation and co-ordination with other health care professionals and health teams and facilities • Awareness of reportable accidents and incidents • Administering therapies, intervention and treatments to residents such as medication • Monitoring responses to treatment and care plan Promoting health and assisting in preventing ill health by participating in health education and other health promotion activities • Answering questions, explaining and providing information to residents and their families about treatment and care; • Supervising and coordinating the work of assistant nurses and other health care workers
