Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in aged care and a genuine passion for working with elderly individuals. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, administering medications, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
· Provide direct nursing care to residents according to their individual care plans
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
· Monitor resident health and report any changes to the clinical team
· Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to residents and their families
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents
· Maintain accurate documentation of resident assessments, care plans, and medical records
Qualifications:
· Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care nursing
· Strong clinical skills and knowledge of aged care practices and regulations
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
· Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
